Bus tap-tap...Ini busnya canggih, walau bentuknya ngga modis..paling tangguh kalo di medan yang berat seperti Papua. I'll be happy to get into this bus again..hehe

It was new year of 2006 when I received an announcement from a mining company allowed me to do my research in Papua. Oh my God, a good chance to believe that You are my bestfriend, I told Him immadiately. I prepared my stuff, Papua on my mind. I had a long trip, perhaps a half day..I dreamed, no..exactly 7 hours. I arrived in Timika, someone picked me up and went to Tembagapura through the ‘bus tap-tap’. Midnight we reached Tembagapura, so cold..I couldn’t believed it. Maybe 16 degree celcius or less than 16, I didn’t care .. keep spirit, I was in more than 2500m above sea level? not sure, but it too cold. I had a dream of Structural Geology in Grasberg-beautiful place in more than 4000m above sea level-with its complex structures, I would be there soon, I thought and talked to my self.

Gosh, I forgot my partner.. “Erick, are you okay?” I asked him. “Could you help me to knock the door for us?” Erick looked tired, he helped me and brought my bagcase. Someone came, more than one, two sisters appeared in the meanwhile of cold night.. Thanks God, they were angels in the midnight.

Couple weeks later, I was standing up on the peak of Grasberg.. Privilege! Thanks God..I will be a structural geologist.. I prayed.
