Robert & Sarah

I met Sarah, last night. She collected me from Royal Holloway. She told me, Robert, his husband, my supervisor exactly, would has a trip to Australia. He always busy, I know that. He ever said to me, “Everyone is busy, but still have time to talk to you Dumex”. That was great, great hope from Robert. I know him since my first year in office, in Jakarta. He is an expert in his expertise, famous structural geologist. “I want to be like you, Robert” I said to him last year. He is a very good person and also popular.

Sarah drove her car through M25, one of the big ringroad in London. She told about her work and family. I’m proud of her. She is a doctor, a wife and mother of three childrens. She walk and work quickly, she do everything well. I like her. Excellent!

We had a warm dinner, talked one each other.. some laughings until the time for Robert to be picked-up by a taxi to bring him to the airport, London Heathrow (LHR). Oh….just some minutes of seeing and Robert will be leaving..? ok, Australian guys need him immediately. Have a safe trip, Rob.

Sarah showed me some recommended films, DVDs. I remember, last year, she gave me 2 love novels. As gifts to back to Indonesia. I put it in my books collection in Indonesia. I will see it next year, through my leaving back to Jakarta.

Sarah took me to Sainsbury in Cobham, a supermarket that closed to her house. She explained many things related to shopping. She chosen some foods, drinks, plates, cups, towel, snacks, coke, rice… She paid those stuff..

Can you imagine what I felt when she gave me those stuff for me…? Oh my God, thanks God, for very kind hands.. Sarah looks like my mom, my English mother…

Sarah, Rob and their childrens are like angels who keep me from sadness, from my loneliness in England.

I’m happy, so happy. I like this family.

I pray for all of you.. My God be with you.
